Frequency Painting with Music on Skateboard
Compétences & expertise
Brett works predominantly in digital print, photography, performance and installation. He is best known for his digital collage, photographic and skateboarding works that capture and manipulate time, energy and motion. He has exhibited and resided all over Europe, America, Australia, and Asia since 2006.
Le projet
Frequency is contemporary, experimental and performance art.
Frequency is a unique radiance of light between artist, audience and his subject. Two Australian based Musician subjects to be confirmed, will be painted on canvas, whilst the artist rides a skateboard on ramps. The art focuses on the exchange of energy, art and power through physical whole body movement. This will be a sonic and visual representation of the subjects’ consciousness.
- Live portrait painting as the musician sits for the painting. The artist would then skate board and paint the subjects portrait accompanied by a drummer and overtone vocalist.
- Action painting to capture subjects spirit and energy.
- To engage, create and complete portrait paintings of iconic Australian musicians live.
The performance of the live art would best suit a theatre setting, gallery or outdoor space. The works reach a wide audience, youth, families and various aged demographic.
